5 different patent invention applications were made to the technology transfer office in the fields of engineering, food and medicine.
The first meeting of the Management Board of the Technology Transfer Office Application and Research Center was held with the participation of Vice Rector Professor Doctor Recep Kürkçü, under the chairmanship of the Center Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Sarıkoç and with the Board Members.
The main topic of the meeting was to evaluate the patent applications. The board decided to send applications to contracted Patent Attorney for the preparation of Preliminary Research Reports.
It was unanimously accepted by the participants that the Preliminary Research Reports of 5 different Patent Invention Notification applications in the fields of Engineering, Food and Medicine submitted to the board by the Central Directorate to the contracted Patent Attorney.
Technology Transfer Office Manager Assist. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Sarıkoç said, " According to the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan of the institution, the target is that 'Number of National and International Patent Applications will be 5 by 2024’. I foresee that we will have reached this target by the end of 2021.
