An agreement was signed between Amasya University and Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2021.According to this agreement, the second YÖS exam was successfully held on May 21, 2023, in 43 countries and 85 centers.
The exam was held in Mogadishu, Somalia. Before the exam, Head of Amasya University International Relations Unit Arslan Say had a meeting with Somali Ambassador İbrahim Mete Yagli and Maarif Foundation School Director Recep Can.
Ambassador Yagli stated that Turkey has a lot of support for Somalia. He also said that this exam conducted by our universities is very useful for student’ s education life.
Amasya University Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Elmacı; “The steps taken last year to make Amasya University an international university are being implemented even more strongly this year. We do not rush in the number and selection of students. We accept controlled students in a way that will not cause any disruptions in education and training. Amasya University tries to convey the cultural richness and historical heritage of the city to its students.
