6 Programs Of The Faculty Of Educatıon Have Been Awarded The Accredıtatıon Certıfıcate

Amasya University Faculty of Education added a new one to its success. Science Teaching, Primary Mathematics Teaching, English Language Teaching, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Social Studies Teaching and Turkish Language Teaching programs were accredited by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs, the only institution authorized by the Higher Education Quality Board.

Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Resul ÇEKİN said, “We have been working intensively on the accreditation process since 2020. We applied for the necessary examinations and examinations were made by experts. After these examinations, it was decided to accredit the 6 programs that we applied for. The accreditation of six programs may be a first in Turkey. And we are determined to continue by increasing our quality day by day. Finally, I would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr Süleyman ELMACI, our faculty management, our valuable academic and administrative staff, and our dear students, and I congratulate them sincerely.”

Amasya University Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman ELMACI said; “Our faculties continue to work intensively in the accreditation process. As you know, our Faculty of Arts and Sciences was accredited in 4 programs (Mathematics, History, Turkish Language and Literature). Our Faculty of Education has been accredited with 6 programs (Science Teaching, Primary Mathematics Teaching, English Language Teaching, Psychological Counseling and Guidance,  Social Studies Teaching and Turkish Language Teaching). Our university is increasing its quality with all its units day by day. I would like to thank all my friends who have contributed to this success.
