1st International Erasmus+ Staff Week" Event Has Started

The "1st International Erasmus+ Staff Week" event organized by Amasya University International Relations Unit has started. 21 academic staff from 11 different countries participated in the program. The opening meeting of the event was held at Amasya University Hüseyin Hüsameddin Yasar Central Library Conference Hall. Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Halil Apaydın, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Şahin Yağlıoğlu, Advisor to the Rector, Assoc. Prof.  Dr. Aytuğ Mermer Üzümlü, General Secretary  Duran Çuhadar and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lect. Aslan Say attended to the meeting. After the opening speeches, the guests visited the Amasya University Library and got information about the library.
The opening speech of the “1st International Erasmus+ Staff Week" event was made by Amasya University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Apaydın. He said that such activities are important for intercultural interaction and information sharing, peace, and cooperation in the international community. After the promotion of Amasya and Turkish culture, we will organize social and cultural activities. Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Aslan Say, on the other hand, said that the purpose of International Erasmus+ Staff Week" is to increase the international recognition of Amasya University. For this purpose, we organize educational and socio-cultural activities at Amasya University for our guests. We have 21 guests from 11 different countries in this program. Our program has attracted a lot of attention from different countries. For this reason, we decided to organize the "2nd International Erasmus+ Staff Week" event between 12-16 June 2023. I would like to thank our participants individually and wish the event to be successful.
