     ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

The main purpose of the program is to educate Electronic Technicians on the quality and standards that our country needs, who may work as  intermediate personnel on the subjects of montage, maintenance and reparation of electronic devices and equipments which are used in the industry, who knows electronic systems and equipments and their features, who are able to apply his/her knowledge to the industrial system and equipment.

Electronic Technicians are the personnel who follow the developments in his profession, able to read schemas and apply them, under the scope of their responsibility are able to communicate with the engineers and able to transfer his knowledge to the technician and expert at a  low level, able to organize work know the importance of group work, able to receive responsibility and risk, able to solve problems and make decisions, able to write reports, use the equipments and able to do maintenance, reparation,   keep records, establish his own business, who are able to work in small and large scale managements as an intermediate and higher level managers.

II. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND AND LABORATORIES

Our program, which started its education and teaching activities in 1990-1991, has the following laboratory and equipment opportunities.

  • Analog-Digital Electronic Education Kit
  • Analog- Digital Communication Education Kit
  • Control and Automation Technology Laboratory
  • PLC and SCADA Laboratory
  • Electric Measuring and Power Systems Laboratory
  • Remote Control Laboratory
  • Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electro-Pneumatic Education Kid
  • Printed Circuit Laboratory (where all types of soldering, montage and mechanic tasks may be applied)

III. THE GRADUATES

The graduates from the Electronic Technology Program are named as an ''Electronic Technology Technician''. Our graduates are  experts of each of their vocational courses and may work both in official and private sectors, sound systems, vocalization of saloons, studios and arenas, technological services, maintenance- reparation units, the works of electric- electronic montage and demontage, microcontroller programming, power electronics, the factories of electric-electronic devices production, control systems, security systems fields and also may establish their own business.

IV. ADVANTAGES

The students who are able to graduate from the programs of vocational high schools may continue their education in a formal bachelor's degree by vertical transfer.
